The Faculty
Our faculty of Advanced Certified Jivamukti Yoga Teachers are pleased to offer their wisdom & knowledge in the land of its source. Most have travelled and studied there extensively.
Land of action
There is something undeniably sacred about the journey to India, the land where the teachings of yoga were first heard them as cosmic music by saints and sages, where people have been practicing those teachings for thousands of years without ceasing.
Let yourself be inspired and activated by the special magic of this journey, whether it be your first or you’ve been there many times before.
Get Inspired
Indian cuisine naturally lends itself to a sattvic vegan diet, encouraging lightness and spirituality through compassionate eating. The animals living around the village in the safe sanctuary will teach us the power of compassion and unconditional love.
Temples and ashram community inspire the heart and mind. Devotion is practiced everywhere in the village, everyone is inspired to serve others.
Kirtan is a way of life at Govardhan Ecovillage. The sounds of nature, devotion and kindness will help you develop the ability of listening.
Remove distractions of daily life, so meditation practice becomes effortless. Practiced daily, meditation will become a regular ritual where at the start and end of the study days.
Be surrounded by individuals who know the holy scriptures inside and out, and learn use them as a guidepost for everyday life.
About Bhakti, Radhanath Swami,
and the Journey Home
Bhakti
Bhakti is the yoga of devotion, which takes the energetic science of yoga from practice into an experience of transcendental joy. It is perhaps one of the most magical aspects of Jivamukti Yoga, expressed through chanting and spiritual storytelling.
Radhanath Swami
The Jivamukti Method's sincere connection to traditional lineages and spiritual communities in India includes our association with Govardhan Ecovillage, the ashram home of Radhanath Swami.
The Journey Home
The Journey Home is Radhanath Swami's inspiring story in which a search for God and Guru led the young American teen from Europe to India on foot, where he faced challenges, met treasured friends, and ultimately created the very place where you will travel for your own profound transformation.

Arrival
Arrive to Mumbai via Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport by very latest morning of Saturday, February 6th, 2027. It is a nice option to book your flight to arrive a couple of days early to India to adjust to timezone, climate, etc. You can coordinate to meet with other JYTT students that are also arriving early via our dedicated JYTT Channel. Upon arrival, you can travel directly to Govardhan Ecovillage or stay in Mumbai.
Saturday, February 6th is the day you should arrive to Govardhan Ecovillage, which is 2–3 hours drive from Mumbai. Please plan your arrival so you will arrive no later than 4pm to check in.
Departure
Anytime on Friday, March 5th, 2027. It is advisable for you to book your departing flights in the evening of March 5th at the earliest, as the journey from GEV to Mumbai is about 3 hrs but could be longer due to traffic.
For those in need of transport upon arrival, it is strongly suggested that you use your hotel shuttle taxi service if available. Most hotels offer their own airport shuttle, please utilise their service and book in advance. Arrival can be daunting, so make it easy and safe for yourself.
For those staying elsewhere or arriving early, please see the link below regarding transportation options to Mumbai city center or elsewhere: mumbaiairport.com/transportation.php

A bus will depart from Mumbai Airport's International Terminal (Terminal 2) on Saturday, Feb 6th. The bus pick-up/drop-off area and parking zones are located at Level 1, Ground Transportation (P4) — to get there, take the escalators behind Burger King.
Please ensure you are at the Bus Terminal by 9:30 AM for check-in and boarding.
